Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Josh Ely made the kick off which started today's match. After having played for 4 minutes, Niall Colton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Snailbeach and Stiperstones FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Niall Colton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 8 minutes into the match, Todmorden AFC's goalkeeper Rueben Willoughby had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Niall Colton. Rueben Willoughby stood somewhat misplaced when Toby Dickner came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 9 minute. Todmorden AFC's Sol Cooke got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sol Cooke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Todmorden AFC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Jermaine Reynolds hit a great ball. A collision led to Todmorden AFC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Junior Needham hit a great ball. 28 minutes into the game, Niall Colton cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Rueben Willoughby was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Niall Colton could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Rueben Willoughby made a huge save. Toby Dickner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Rueben Willoughby tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Snailbeach and Stiperstones FC's Rueben Willoughby threw himself towards the right post 37 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Toby Dickner, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A collision led to Todmorden AFC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Junior Needham hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Snailbeach and Stiperstones FC's Laurence Harper tried to score from far away in the 42nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 43rd match minute, Todmorden AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gav Monk to maneuver through the defense.

If Toby Dickner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rueben Willoughby came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Snailbeach and Stiperstones FC's Toby Dickner. But to his dismay, Toby Dickner quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. The audience was convinced that Toby Dickner's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rueben Willoughby was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. Rueben Willoughby stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Toby Dickner's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Niall Colton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rueben Willoughby having to interfere. 71 minutes into the game, Toby Dickner cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Rueben Willoughby was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rueben Willoughby took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niall Colton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Niall Colton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Toby Dickner in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rueben Willoughby saved Todmorden AFC from getting behind. After 78 played minutes Snailbeach and Stiperstones FC got a freekick which was hit by Tommy Knowles. In the 78th minute, Tommy Knowles fired away an extremely well hit free kick, but unfortunately the ball went just outside to the right hand side of Rueben Willoughby. Niall Colton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rueben Willoughby having to interfere. Rueben Willoughby showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toby Dickner, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute.
