Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fraser Gildea started the match with the kick off. Seb Fisher made an important save on a dangerous shot by Chesney Courtney in the 6th minute. Johnathan Appleton kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the match, Twickenham's Vance Hirst sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zane Colley narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 13th minute, Vance Hirst got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zane Colley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fraser Gildea in the 15th minute of the match. Zane Colley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fraser Gildea in the 20th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jerry Elvins during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 22nd match minute, Hurst Green was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerry Elvins to maneuver through the defense. Rupert Dawson, 23 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 26thth minute of the game Fraser Gildea who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hurst Green's Zane Colley was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hurst Green's Zane Colley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fraser Gildea in the 28th minute of play. With a little luck, Twickenham's Seb Fisher got control of the ball when Chesney Courtney tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fraser Gildea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Zane Colley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lloyd Sutcliffe's late challenge caught a Twickenham's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lloyd Sutcliffe helped the player get up and apologised. After some careless play in the Hurst Green defense, Vance Hirst kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zane Colley. The Hurst Green fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zane Colley should have stopped the shot. After 46 minutes of play Hurst Green's Jerry Elvins was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 47 played minutes Hurst Green got a freekick which was hit by Jerry Elvins. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Chesney Courtney made the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Chesney Courtney had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Seb Fisher. Twickenham's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Chesney Courtney was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 60th minute, Vance Hirst got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hurst Green's goalkeeper Zane Colley, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Hurst Green getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Jerry Storry hit a great ball. When Chesney Courtney came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Hurst Green fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chesney Courtney couldn't finish the play. Chesney Courtney sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 69th match minute, Twickenham was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacob Jenkinson to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chesney Courtney in the 72nd minute of play forced Twickenham's goalkeeper Seb Fisher to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fraser Gildea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Zane Colley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Jerry Storry fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hurst Green's protests and gave Jerry Storry a yellow card for diving instead. Jerry Storry hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. If Fraser Gildea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vance Hirst sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 84 played minutes Hurst Green got a freekick which was hit by Gerry Timmins. After 86 minutes, Dennis Waterhouse mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Twickenham and the Hurst Green players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Twickenham getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Dennis Waterhouse hit a great ball. Hurst Green's Zane Colley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fraser Gildea in the 96th minute of play. After having played for 97 minutes, Fraser Gildea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Twickenham's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fraser Gildea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Twickenham booed when Hurst Green was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kristian Fearns didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Twickenham players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
