Zane Colley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alf Akins in the 34th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Alf Akins's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zane Colley was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jerry Storry was the one to do the kick off. In the 59th minute Alf Akins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zane Colley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 59th match minute, Hurst Green was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerry Elvins to maneuver through the defense. In the 61stth minute of the game Alf Akins who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hurst Green's Zane Colley was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Hurst Green's Zane Colley got control of the ball when Grant Davies tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alf Akins in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zane Colley prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hurst Green's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Grant Davies was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Alf Akins succeeded in the game's 80th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-4. Alf Akins recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Grant Davies's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zane Colley read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. If Brendon Bartram had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alf Akins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Zane Colley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Greenwich's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
