Spectators: 6723 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fraser Gildea started the match with the kick off. Josh Ely sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rueben Willoughby made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fraser Gildea in the 6th minute of play. In the 8thth minute of the game Fraser Gildea who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Todmorden AFC's Rueben Willoughby was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Olly Fielden fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Twickenham's protests and gave Olly Fielden a yellow card for diving instead. Olly Fielden kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Rueben Willoughby showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vance Hirst, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Fraser Gildea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rueben Willoughby took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fraser Gildea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute Fraser Gildea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rueben Willoughby saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vance Hirst received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Rueben Willoughby tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Fraser Gildea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Todmorden AFC's Jermaine Reynolds got a free kick in the 40th minute. Todmorden AFC's Rueben Willoughby played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vance Hirst in the 42nd minute of play. Seb Fisher was out of position in the 44 minute of play, and Sol Cooke capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sol Cooke really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. A collision led to Todmorden AFC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Junior Needham hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Josh Ely stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Rob Langford fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Twickenham's protests and gave Rob Langford a yellow card for diving instead. Rob Langford hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Sol Cooke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Seb Fisher having to interfere. Josh Ely received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Seb Fisher tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Twickenham getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Dennis Waterhouse hit a great ball. Nial Denham, 57 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Josh Ely took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Seb Fisher. Seb Fisher dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. 64 minutes into the match, Todmorden AFC's goalkeeper Rueben Willoughby had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vance Hirst. Junior Needham hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. 71 minutes into the game, Twickenham's Vance Hirst nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rueben Willoughby made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Vance Hirst received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Rueben Willoughby tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 82 minutes of play, Todmorden AFC's Sol Cooke made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Seb Fisher was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 87th minute, Sol Cooke got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Twickenham's Brandon Boyce got a free kick in the 89th minute. 91 minutes into the match, Twickenham's goal looked a bit too open when Sol Cooke came free, but Seb Fisher reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Todmorden AFC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Twickenham for a fine match.
