Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jerry Storry got the match started through his kick off. Blair Boston received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Zane Colley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zane Colley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Blair Boston in the 8th minute of the match. Zane Colley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stu Woodcock, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Noel Styles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerry Storry in the 17th minute of the match. Noel Styles was a little too slow when Jerry Storry got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 19th minute. The score was now 1-0. If Stu Woodcock had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anthony Nethercoat kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stu Woodcock in the 32nd minute of play forced Hurst Green's goalkeeper Zane Colley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zane Colley came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Cheshunt's Blair Boston. But to his dismay, Blair Boston quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Hurst Green's Zane Colley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stu Woodcock in the 45th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stu Woodcock to make the kick off. Stu Woodcock fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zane Colley having to interfere. Stu Woodcock received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Zane Colley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Stu Woodcock had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Stu Woodcock's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zane Colley was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. In the 66th minute, Blair Boston got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 71st minute by Blair Boston got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Chesney Courtney took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Noel Styles. Noel Styles dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Cheshunt's Blair Boston got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Lee Rawson fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hurst Green's protests and gave Lee Rawson a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Cheshunt booed when Hurst Green was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lee Rawson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Blair Boston recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Blair Boston who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 90thth minute tested the skills of Zane Colley when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Cheshunt's Stu Woodcock got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Hurst Green players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
