Twickenham's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cheshunt the free kick. A collision led to Twickenham getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Michael Lambley hit a great ball. When Kurt Lovell fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Twickenham's protests and gave Kurt Lovell a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 6th minute of the game. One of Twickenham:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cheshunt:s goal. 12 minutes into the match, Twickenham's Vance Hirst sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Noel Styles narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Blair Boston came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Cheshunt fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Blair Boston couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anthony Nethercoat in the 17th minute of play forced Twickenham's goalkeeper Seb Fisher to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 17 played minutes Twickenham got a freekick which was hit by Dennis Waterhouse. Cheshunt's Stu Woodcock got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 22 minutes into the match, Twickenham's goal looked a bit too open when Stu Woodcock came free, but Seb Fisher reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by Twickenham's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ricky Mayfield was slow to take the kick. During this time Cheshunt's players had a chance to rest. In the 24th match minute, Cheshunt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Garth Southgate to maneuver through the defense. Garth Southgate stood ready after the free kick and tried to head the ball into the goal, but got pushed from behind by one of Twickenham's defenders and the ball went out. Cheshunt appealed in vain for a penalty, the referee looked over at the linesman, but the flag stayed down. No Penalty. Noel Styles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fraser Gildea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 29 minutes into the match, Twickenham's goal looked a bit too open when Blair Boston came free, but Seb Fisher reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brandon Boyce's late challenge caught a Cheshunt's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stu Woodcock received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Seb Fisher tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Seb Fisher stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stu Woodcock's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blair Boston in the 38th minute of play forced Twickenham's goalkeeper Seb Fisher to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fraser Gildea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Seb Fisher showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stu Woodcock in the 41st minute of the match. In the 45th minute Dennis Waterhouse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Noel Styles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rob Langford's late challenge caught a Cheshunt's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rob Langford helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Twickenham's Rob Langford got a free kick in the 57th minute. Seb Fisher showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stu Woodcock in the 61st minute of the match. Blair Boston could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Seb Fisher made a huge save. After 66 minutes, Vance Hirst mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Twickenham and the Cheshunt players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Cheshunt booed when Twickenham was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vance Hirst didn't get a good kick on the ball. Blair Boston fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Seb Fisher having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Blair Boston got free with Seb Fisher in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Stu Woodcock received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Seb Fisher tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Stu Woodcock managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cheshunt's supporters rose to their feet, but Stu Woodcock was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Seb Fisher breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Twickenham's Seb Fisher played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stu Woodcock in the 90th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Blair Boston got free with Seb Fisher in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 94th minute, Fraser Gildea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 95 played minutes Twickenham got a freekick which was hit by Rupert Dawson.
