The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luke Cheeseman helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Rapid Bucharest getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Luke Cheeseman hit a great ball. Lance Lambourne took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kristopher Bell. Kristopher Bell dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. With a little luck, Knapton City's Kristopher Bell got control of the ball when Lance Lambourne tried to sneak it across the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Dominik Foggarty dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Kristopher Bell, 3-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lance Lambourne got free with Kristopher Bell in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 28th minute, Lance Lambourne got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Barney Jowsey in the 31st minute of play forced Rapid Bucharest's goalkeeper Simon Bilton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Barney Jowsey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Lance Lambourne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute, Lewis Kitchen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lance Lambourne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 49th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lance Lambourne to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Knapton City's goal looked a bit too open when Lance Lambourne came free, but Kristopher Bell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dominik Foggarty fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kristopher Bell having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Hallam in the 60th minute of play forced Knapton City's goalkeeper Kristopher Bell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victor Hallam blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kristopher Bell having to make a save. In the 68th minute, Jonathon Mead ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Simon Bilton was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. The audience was convinced that Lance Lambourne's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kristopher Bell was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. Victor Hallam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lewis Kitchen kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. In the 85th minute Lance Lambourne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kristopher Bell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kristopher Bell stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dominik Foggarty's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. Kristopher Bell came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Rapid Bucharest's Victor Hallam. But to his dismay, Victor Hallam quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Knapton City's Jonathon Mead got a good chance for a goal in the 101st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rapid Bucharest's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
