Spectators: 7563 (Terracing: 5673, Seating: 1739, VIP seats: 151) Barney Jowsey started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 17 minutes into the match, Barcelona Harborougf FC's Steve Stevens sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kristopher Bell narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jonathon Mead recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Darren Longden hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. In the 22nd minute, Calvin Oliver fired a really elegant long shot, but Curtis Coburn threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. Curtis Coburn made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Jonathon Mead sent off a good shot on target. David Hancock took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kristopher Bell. Kristopher Bell dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Knapton City's Barney Jowsey got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Barney Jowsey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Curtis Coburn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathon Mead succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 48th playminute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Carl Denham hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Joel Walters fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kristopher Bell having to interfere. Steve Stevens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Barcelona Harborougf FC's Steve Stevens got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With his leg Kristopher Bell managed to avoid a goal in the 76thth minute, when Barcelona Harborougf FC's Joel Walters fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Steve Stevens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Joel Walters sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 88th minute, Steve Stevens fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After 91 played minutes Knapton City got a freekick which was hit by Barney Jowsey. Knapton City's Kristopher Bell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Hancock in the 98th minute of play. Barcelona Harborougf FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
