In the 13th minute, Stevie Soussan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stephen Devine was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Shawn Bettney kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Stephen Devine didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Chip Warner went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 24th match minute, Bedlington was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marty Lemerond to maneuver through the defense. In the 26th minute of the match, Shawn Bettney tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Leroy Seagrave saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Stevie Soussan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stephen Devine having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Stevie Soussan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bedlington's supporters rose to their feet, but Stevie Soussan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stephen Devine breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 34 minutes into the game, Chip Warner cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Stephen Devine was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 40th minute, Jamie Gulliver hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stevie Soussan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Stephen Devine having to make a save. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pirroni-cum-Moze City's goalkeeper Stephen Devine, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Chip Warner to strike the kick off in the second half. Bedlington's Chip Warner got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jason Forrest received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Leroy Seagrave tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Pirroni-cum-Moze City's Jason Forrest in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Stephen Devine didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bedlington. An unexpected shot in the 93rd minute by Stevie Soussan got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Chip Warner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stephen Devine having to interfere. Stephen Devine made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stevie Soussan in the 97th minute. When the final whistle sounded Bedlington left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Pirroni-cum-Moze City.
