The audience was convinced that Jay Beck's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Matt Hughes was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. A collision led to DSGaming getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Buster Hindmarsh hit a great ball. After 22 played minutes DSGaming got a freekick which was hit by Isaac Ripley. If Buster Hindmarsh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th minute, Liam Chappell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Harvey Gates fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duncan Little having to interfere. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Harvey Gates was the one to do the kick off. After 51 minutes of play, Bodmin's Cody Chappell made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Duncan Little was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Bodmin's zone, Buster Hindmarsh stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matt Hughes came out of the goal and Buster Hindmarsh tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match clock showed 60 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Jay Beck sped through Bodmin's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Matt Hughes. Jay Beck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cody Chappell's late challenge caught a DSGaming's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cody Chappell helped the player get up and apologised. In the 67th match minute, Bodmin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cody Chappell to maneuver through the defense. When Isaac Ripley fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored DSGaming's protests and gave Isaac Ripley a yellow card for diving instead. Isaac Ripley hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. 70 minutes into the match, DSGaming's goalkeeper Duncan Little had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cody Chappell. Buster Hindmarsh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matt Hughes having to interfere. Buster Hindmarsh struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Matt Hughes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for DSGaming. Matt Hughes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jay Beck in the 78th minute of play. Jerome Nelson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Matt Hughes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Buster Hindmarsh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jay Beck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Buster Hindmarsh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Liam Chappell charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Liam Chappell the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Bodmin booed when DSGaming was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Liam Chappell didn't get a good kick on the ball. 87 minutes into the match, DSGaming's goal looked a bit too open when Harvey Gates came free, but Duncan Little reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ashley Hardcastle during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 89th minute, Ashley Hardcastle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
