Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when CJ Horsell got the match started through his kick off. The audience was convinced that Pat Pilkington's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Matt Hughes was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Bodmin's Lennie Johnson got a free kick in the 6th minute. Matt Hughes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pat Pilkington in the 16th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Pat Pilkington got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 24 minutes into the match, Bodmin's goal looked a bit too open when Wayne Parslow came free, but Matt Hughes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27thth minute of the game Cody Chappell who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tettenhall's Zaq Rider was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Harvey Gates received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Zaq Rider tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tettenhall's Zaq Rider played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harvey Gates in the 31st minute of play. When Pat Newell fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bodmin's protests and gave Pat Newell a yellow card for diving instead. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 53rd minute Cody Chappell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zaq Rider saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lennie Johnson hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. The long shot by Jack Johnson in the 58th minute really tested Matt Hughes's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Matt Hughes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pat Pilkington went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. CJ Horsell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matt Hughes having to interfere. Lennie Johnson kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Pat Pilkington could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Matt Hughes made a huge save. 75 minutes into the match, Tettenhall's goal looked a bit too open when Harvey Gates came free, but Zaq Rider reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Bodmin's Matt Hughes got control of the ball when Pat Pilkington tried to sneak it across the goal line. Harvey Gates recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. CJ Horsell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Wayne Parslow had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. CJ Horsell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Matt Hughes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Tettenhall left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Bodmin.
