Nath Little started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 6 minutes into the match, Cereal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nath Little came free, but Eddy Scrivener reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Christopher Fry fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cereal FC's protests and gave Christopher Fry a yellow card for diving instead. Christopher Fry hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. In the 8th minute of the match Jeff Selby shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eddy Scrivener showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Cereal FC defense, Antony Bzeu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eddy Scrivener. The Cereal FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eddy Scrivener should have stopped the shot. After 16 minutes of play, Hiltingbury AFC's Kristian Senior made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eddy Scrivener was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 19 played minutes, Hiltingbury AFC's Louie Dry shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Eddy Scrivener came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Hiltingbury AFC reached it. In the 23rdth minute of the game Kristian Senior who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cereal FC's Eddy Scrivener was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 28 minutes, Antony Bzeu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hiltingbury AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antony Bzeu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 35 minutes into the game, Kristian Senior was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hiltingbury AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cereal FC the free kick. In the 35th match minute, Hiltingbury AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kristian Senior to maneuver through the defense. After 40 minutes of play, Hiltingbury AFC's Nath Little made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eddy Scrivener was left in no man's land by his defense there! Eddy Scrivener showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nath Little in the 45th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lee Milburn made a kick off. Antony Bzeu in the 52ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Eddy Scrivener, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Nath Little fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eddy Scrivener having to interfere. Eddy Scrivener made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Antony Bzeu sent off a good shot on target. 58 minutes into the match, Cereal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nath Little came free, but Eddy Scrivener reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot by Louie Dry from long distance, 62 minutes into the match, got Eddy Scrivener's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 64th minute, Antony Bzeu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eddy Scrivener was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nath Little in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eddy Scrivener saved Cereal FC from getting behind. In the 75th minute of the match, Nath Little tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Eddy Scrivener saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Nath Little had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 82 minutes, Robert Waller mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cereal FC and the Hiltingbury AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 82 played minutes Cereal FC got a freekick which was hit by Robert Waller. 84 minutes into the match, Nath Little notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Cereal FC's Eddy Scrivener. Eddy Scrivener was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Eddy Scrivener made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nath Little in the 90th minute of play. When the match was over Hiltingbury AFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Cereal FC throughout the match.
