After a defensive mix-up in Isle Of Dogs City's zone, Joe Froggatt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mark Charles came out of the goal and Joe Froggatt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zack Gough showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martyn Coogan in the 8th minute of the match. In the 10th minute, Lloyd Hedley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 13 minutes of play, Nottingham Drillerz's Peter Neville made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mark Charles was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nottingham Drillerz's Zack Gough played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martyn Coogan in the 17th minute of play. Peter Neville sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Joe Froggatt came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Nottingham Drillerz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joe Froggatt couldn't finish the play. If Joey Speed had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zack Gough showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carl Guest, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Nottingham Drillerz's Joe Froggatt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mark Charles narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lloyd Hedley could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Zack Gough made a huge save. Mark Charles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carl Crouch, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Rueben Mawson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mark Charles read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Zack Gough showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martyn Coogan in the 39th minute of the match. Peter Neville sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 43rd minute, Peter Neville got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match clock showed 43 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Rueben Mawson sped through Isle Of Dogs City's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mark Charles. 47 minutes into the game, Rueben Mawson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Mark Charles was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half Nottingham Drillerz were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rueben Mawson was the one to do the kick off. Zack Gough took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martyn Coogan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 69 minutes had been played when some careless play by Nottingham Drillerz's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Danny Wild was slow to take the kick. During this time Isle Of Dogs City's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Danny Wild almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Nottingham Drillerz's Zack Gough did a great save. A collision led to Isle Of Dogs City getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Damion Cavanagh hit a great ball. Zack Gough showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martyn Coogan in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nottingham Drillerz's goalkeeper Zack Gough, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 76 minutes into the match, Isle Of Dogs City's goalkeeper Mark Charles had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joe Froggatt. A collision led to Isle Of Dogs City getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Danny Wild hit a great ball. Damion Cavanagh hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Peter Neville was extremely unlucky when he, in the 84th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Nottingham Drillerz's Johnathan Rose shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 87th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Mark Charles but with some difficulty. Joe Froggatt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mark Charles having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Joe Froggatt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mark Charles was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. The Isle Of Dogs City supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Nottingham Drillerz's performance. The match ended with a win for Nottingham Drillerz.
