Charlie Huxtable's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jerome Botham read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. In the 53rd minute Charlie Huxtable shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerome Botham saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jerome Botham showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donny Perryman in the 54th minute of the match. After having played for 56 minutes, Charlie Huxtable managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Norby City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Charlie Huxtable was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Donny Perryman in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jerome Botham saved Bath from getting behind. If Donny Perryman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Norby City's Charlie Huxtable in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bath's goalie prevented a goal. Charlie Huxtable took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jerome Botham. Jerome Botham dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Charlie Huxtable might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jerome Botham. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Charlie Huxtable ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 76th minute, Kristopher Wills made a precise shot to the right of Jerome Botham. Bath's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Stevie Winstanley's late challenge caught a Bath's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stevie Winstanley helped the player get up and apologised. Jerome Botham made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donny Perryman in the 82nd minute of play. Jerome Botham showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charlie Huxtable in the 83rd minute of the match. After 84 minutes, Shawn Broadbent mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bath and the Norby City players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Norby City booed when Bath was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shawn Broadbent didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 85thth minute of the game Charlie Huxtable who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bath's Jerome Botham was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Steve Rush had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Donny Perryman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Norby City fully deserved thier win.
