Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) With a little luck, F.C.Munchen's Sean Sedgemore got control of the ball when Bruce Nailor tried to sneak it across the goal line. F.C.Munchen's Sean Sedgemore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by John Paul Paterson in the 6th minute of play. A collision led to F.C.Munchen getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Lance Fitter hit a great ball. John Paul Paterson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Sean Sedgemore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bruce Nailor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Sean Sedgemore made a huge save. Damon Burkinshaw sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Glyn Bedford might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Malcolm McCunnie. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Glyn Bedford ran back to his position shaking his head. 21 minutes into the match, Bruce Nailor notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of F.C.Munchen's Sean Sedgemore. Sean Sedgemore was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sean Sedgemore stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of John Paul Paterson's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. The audience was convinced that Damon Burkinshaw's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Malcolm McCunnie was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Bruce Nailor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sean Sedgemore having to interfere. Sean Sedgemore didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 34th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. F.C.Munchen's Sean Sedgemore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by John Paul Paterson in the 38th minute of play. After a rather tough play, F.C.Munchen's Glyn Bedford got a free kick in the 39th minute. Bruce Nailor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kurt Chivers was the one to do the kick off. Kurt Chivers struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Malcolm McCunnie didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for F.C.Munchen. Sean Sedgemore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John Paul Paterson in the 56th minute of play. In the 60th minute John Paul Paterson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sean Sedgemore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruce Nailor in the 62nd minute of play forced F.C.Munchen's goalkeeper Sean Sedgemore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sean Sedgemore took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from John Paul Paterson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 67th minute, John Paul Paterson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sean Sedgemore was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Bruce Nailor might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sean Sedgemore. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bruce Nailor ran back to his position shaking his head. Joey Shakespeare kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. When Derek Weston came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Hawkcombe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Derek Weston couldn't finish the play. 83 minutes into the match, F.C.Munchen's goal looked a bit too open when Bruce Nailor came free, but Sean Sedgemore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sean Sedgemore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruce Nailor in the 93rd minute of play. After 95 minutes of play, Hawkcombe's John Paul Paterson made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sean Sedgemore was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Hawkcombe getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Ashley Charie hit a great ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Hawkcombe fully deserved thier win.
