Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Damon Chipperfield started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Long Hanborough's zone, Orson Callery stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victor Key came out of the goal and Orson Callery tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 6th minute, Victor Little hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Keanu Rathmell in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Victor Key saved Long Hanborough from getting behind. 12 minutes into the match, Bath's goal looked a bit too open when Damon Chipperfield came free, but Jerome Botham reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ricky Dowdall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Jerome Botham tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ricky Dowdall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerome Botham having to interfere. Orson Callery received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Victor Key tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience held their breath when Jon Holroyd in the 25th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Victor Key's left hand side. After 26 minutes, Freddy Ashton mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Long Hanborough and the Bath players grew even worse after the yellow card. 31 minutes into the match, Long Hanborough's Ricky Dowdall sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jerome Botham narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Shawn Broadbent sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Ricky Dowdall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jerome Botham showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damon Chipperfield in the 35th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Damon Chipperfield took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Jerome Botham to make any attempt to save it. After having played for 41 minutes, Keanu Rathmell managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bath's supporters crossed their fingers, but Keanu Rathmell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 43 minutes into the match, Bath's goalkeeper Jerome Botham had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ricky Dowdall. 43 minutes into the game, Shawn Broadbent was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bath's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Long Hanborough the free kick. In the 45th minute, Damon Chipperfield reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jerome Botham. The goal made the score 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Keanu Rathmell stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Damon Chipperfield had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Bath's Gareth Ellerton got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Ricky Dowdall blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jerome Botham having to make a save. Damon Chipperfield sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jerome Botham made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricky Dowdall in the 60th minute of play. In the 61stth minute of the game Damon Chipperfield who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bath's Jerome Botham was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Ricky Dowdall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 73 played minutes Long Hanborough got a freekick which was hit by Victor Little. After 74 played minutes, Bath's Jon Holroyd shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Victor Key came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bath reached it. Damon Chipperfield struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Jerome Botham didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Long Hanborough. 82 minutes into the match, Ricky Dowdall notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Bath's Jerome Botham. Jerome Botham was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Damon Chipperfield received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute.
