Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Kurt Chivers kicked off to start the match. Kurt Chivers might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stevie Brooks. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kurt Chivers ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 13th minute, Damon Burkinshaw ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stevie Brooks was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 18th minute, Barry Armitage reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sean Sedgemore. The goal made the score 1-1. If Barry Armitage had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Barry Armitage received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Sean Sedgemore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sean Sedgemore was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Barry Armitage showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 35 minute of play. Sean Sedgemore took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Barry Armitage, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Blair Hoult had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Barry Armitage sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Barry Armitage struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Sean Sedgemore didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sunderland. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Barry Armitage to strike the kick off in the second half. Barry Armitage received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Sean Sedgemore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sean Sedgemore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barry Armitage in the 55th minute of play. When Barry Armitage came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Sunderland fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Barry Armitage couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Abraham Hubbard during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 58 played minutes F.C.Munchen got a freekick which was hit by Abraham Hubbard. F.C.Munchen's Sean Sedgemore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blair Hoult in the 64th minute of play. Barry Armitage recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blair Hoult in the 74th minute of play forced F.C.Munchen's goalkeeper Sean Sedgemore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76thth minute of the game Barry Armitage who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but F.C.Munchen's Sean Sedgemore was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 76 played minutes F.C.Munchen got a freekick which was hit by Glyn Bedford. If Barry Armitage had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85th minute of the match Hayden Stride sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Stevie Brooks skillfully saved the ball. Blair Hoult recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Blair Hoult sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sunderland walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
