In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Helston FC's goalkeeper Kasey Hancock, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 70 minutes, Glen Shackleton mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the The As and the Helston FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 70 played minutes The As got a freekick which was hit by Glen Shackleton. In the 72nd minute, Helston FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Harvey Pack fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The As's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
