Warren Jenkinson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jez Goodall in the 4th minute of the match. Jez Goodall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 6th minute, Syd Short hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 10thth minute of the game Brendon Lee-Barrett who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wigan's Warren Jenkinson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Brendon Lee-Barrett put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Warren Jenkinson. Marc Branson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Chip Fairbank tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sammy Busby took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 24th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Warren Jenkinson. Wigan's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 27 minutes, Brendon Lee-Barrett mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Teddykanto and the Wigan players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Teddykanto's Brendon Lee-Barrett got a free kick in the 27th minute. Warren Jenkinson came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Teddykanto's Brendon Lee-Barrett. But to his dismay, Brendon Lee-Barrett quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Ryan Goodfellow hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. A collision led to Teddykanto getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Chip Brumfitt hit a great ball. 46 minutes had been played when some careless play by Teddykanto's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ryan Goodfellow was slow to take the kick. During this time Wigan's players had a chance to rest.

Wigan's Warren Jenkinson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Wigan from getting a goal against them. Simeon Clarke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Chip Fairbank tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Jez Goodall's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Warren Jenkinson was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. In the 57th minute, Chris Turk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wigan's Warren Jenkinson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Wigan from getting a goal against them. Jez Goodall's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Warren Jenkinson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. The supporters of Teddykanto booed when Wigan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Graham Pope didn't get a good kick on the ball. Warren Jenkinson stood somewhat misplaced when Brendon Lee-Barrett came free in front of goal and shot 0-3 to the left of him in the 76 minute. In the 83rd minute, Teddykanto's Brendon Lee-Barrett dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. With a little luck, Wigan's Warren Jenkinson got control of the ball when Brendon Lee-Barrett tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 90 minutes, Marc Branson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wigan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marc Branson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wigan's Warren Jenkinson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jez Goodall in the 93rd minute of play. The supporters of Teddykanto booed when Wigan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Graham Pope didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 95 minutes, Brendon Lee-Barrett managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Teddykanto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brendon Lee-Barrett was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Teddykanto had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
