After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Robin Norton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ealing United's supporters rose to their feet, but Robin Norton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dennis Robins breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Billy Woodman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 21 minutes into the match, Ipswich's goal looked a bit too open when Robin Norton came free, but Dennis Robins reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robin Norton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dennis Robins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robin Norton in the 22nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robin Norton in the 24th minute of play forced Ipswich's goalkeeper Dennis Robins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 59 minutes into the game, Ealing United's Eddy Crowell nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dennis Robins made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Robin Norton struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Dennis Robins didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ealing United. Dennis Robins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Billy Woodman in the 64th minute of the match. 68 minutes into the match, Ipswich's goal looked a bit too open when Robin Norton came free, but Dennis Robins reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Robin Norton came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Ealing United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robin Norton couldn't finish the play. Ealing United's attentive Eddy Crowell managed to snatch the ball when Zak Bedford made a throw-in in the 73rd minute of the game. Dennis Robins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robin Norton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 75 minutes into the match, Eddy Crowell had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dennis Robins. Ipswich's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eddy Crowell was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Andre Allison scored 1-2 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tom Boulding, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ralph Hislop in the 82nd minute of play forced Ealing United's goalkeeper Tom Boulding to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Eddy Crowell kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dennis Robins. That made the score 1-3 in the 83 minute of play. Robin Norton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dennis Robins didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Robin Norton went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. In the 93rd minute Andre Allison shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tom Boulding saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
