A very good chance. 26 minutes into the match, Marc Branson notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of No Name Boys's Charles Toulson. Charles Toulson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Charles Toulson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simeon Clarke, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. After having played for 33 minutes, Terry Winehouse managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. No Name Boys's supporters crossed their fingers, but Terry Winehouse was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 38thth minute of the game Graham Pope who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but No Name Boys's Charles Toulson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Terry Winehouse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 47 minutes into the game, Marc Branson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Charles Toulson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cody Harland was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Wigan's Romeo Afful got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Warren Jenkinson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Terry Winehouse, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Terry Winehouse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Warren Jenkinson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 65 minutes into the match, Wigan's goal looked a bit too open when Cody Harland came free, but Warren Jenkinson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Terry Winehouse scored 1-2 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Warren Jenkinson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Charles Toulson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marc Branson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 82 played minutes Wigan got a freekick which was hit by Graham Pope. Charles Toulson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Simeon Clarke in the 86th minute. Wigan's Joshua Crossman got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Simeon Clarke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Charles Toulson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Wigan players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
