If Marcus Carlisle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stubbington FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cum United the free kick. Hugh Clayton scored 6-0 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rio Birchall, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Stubbington FC had played much better football throughout.
