The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Will Kaye stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cum United's Rio Birchall played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rio McGrath in the 56th minute of play. The supporters of Southbourne booed when Cum United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Calvin Draper didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th minute, Julian Noble hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 81st minute, Martyn Yeo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Southbourne fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. After 87 played minutes Cum United got a freekick which was hit by Alex Kyle. Alex Kyle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marty Eastwood having to interfere. Southbourne's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
