Psycho Squad's Brian Hurst proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Psycho Squad from getting a goal against them. Denny Clayton kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Jonathon Garner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brian Hurst having to interfere. Harry Senior could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Brian Hurst made a huge save. 17 minutes into the match, Jonathon Garner dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Brian Hurst, 1-0. 21 minutes into the match, Mr White Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Tod Lowe came free, but Ivan Prutton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mr White Fc's Harry Senior got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Mr White Fc's Romeo Piercy got a free kick in the 28th minute. In the 29th minute of the match Sebastien Kelly shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ivan Prutton showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tod Lowe in the 31st minute of play forced Mr White Fc's goalkeeper Ivan Prutton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Jonathon Garner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd minute, Tod Lowe left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Psycho Squad fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. If Harry Senior had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Psycho Squad getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Laurence Farmer hit a great ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tod Lowe was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute of the match Paul Stonehouse shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Brian Hurst showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Brian Hurst took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonathon Garner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Harry Senior had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Ivan Prutton managed to avoid a goal in the 61stth minute, when Psycho Squad's Nial Stevens fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Jonathon Garner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 66 minutes into the match, Psycho Squad's Tod Lowe sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ivan Prutton narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nial Stevens got free with Ivan Prutton in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 72nd minute Harry Senior shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brian Hurst saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76th minute, Romeo Piercy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Brian Hurst showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathon Garner in the 81st minute of the match. If Harry Senior had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85th minute Oscar Dibb shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Prutton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tod Lowe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 87 minutes into the match, Mr White Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Nial Stevens came free, but Ivan Prutton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Tod Lowe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Psycho Squad's supporters rose to their feet, but Tod Lowe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivan Prutton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 96 minutes into the match, Psycho Squad's goal looked a bit too open when Harry Senior came free, but Brian Hurst reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 97 minutes into the game, Oscar Dibb was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Psycho Squad's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mr White Fc the free kick. Oscar Dibb kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
