With a little luck, Mr White Fc's Ivan Prutton got control of the ball when Andrew Clare tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jonathon Hill's late challenge caught a Dolton City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonathon Hill helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Dolton City booed when Mr White Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
