Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Stewart Stayton made the kick off which started today's match. After 4 played minutes Perivale AFC got a freekick which was hit by Kelvin Dolby. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stewart Stayton got free with Bryan Fields in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Anthony Darling's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bryan Fields read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. After taking down the ball on Perivale AFC's corner Cliff Mann fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Bryan Fields quite easily take care of the ball. Wayne Collier kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Westbourne United's Bryan Fields proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Westbourne United from getting a goal against them. If Eric Bellamy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Perivale AFC's Kelvin Dolby got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Perivale AFC's Rex Moorhouse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nat Gulliver in the 38th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Phil Riad in the 40th minute of play forced Perivale AFC's goalkeeper Rex Moorhouse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Perivale AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Eric Bellamy came free, but Rex Moorhouse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rex Moorhouse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eric Bellamy in the 47th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Rex Moorhouse made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Eric Bellamy sent off a good shot on target. Rex Moorhouse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Phil Riad in the 59th minute of the match. After 59 played minutes Perivale AFC got a freekick which was hit by Cliff Mann. 63 minutes into the match, Stewart Stayton notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Westbourne United's Bryan Fields. Bryan Fields was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 68 minutes, Stewart Stayton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Perivale AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stewart Stayton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 71st minute Nat Gulliver shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rex Moorhouse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stewart Stayton might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bryan Fields. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Stewart Stayton ran back to his position shaking his head. Bryan Fields showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stewart Stayton in the 81st minute of the match. In the 82nd match minute, Westbourne United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zackary Richardson to maneuver through the defense. In the 83rd minute, Stewart Stayton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Stewart Stayton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Westbourne United's Nat Gulliver got a free kick in the 89th minute. In the 91st minute, Vic Bond hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 96 minutes into the match, Perivale AFC's goalkeeper Rex Moorhouse had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eric Bellamy.
