Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Zane Boyd made the kick off which started today's match. If Felix Fenton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 6th minute of the match, Vinnie Blythe tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Cliff Whitworth saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 9th minute, Philip Holland hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lenny Owen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Felix Fenton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vinnie Blythe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cliff Whitworth having to interfere. Vinnie Blythe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Cliff Whitworth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, Vinnie Blythe dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cliff Whitworth, 1-0. Vinnie Blythe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Cliff Whitworth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 32 minutes into the game, Keiran Pollard was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Brompton FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Maroon the free kick. In the 32nd minute, Keiran Pollard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cliff Whitworth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vinnie Blythe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Fenton got free with Cliff Whitworth in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Felix Fenton put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Cliff Whitworth. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vinnie Blythe made a kick off. In the 52ndth minute of the game Vinnie Blythe who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Maroon's Cliff Whitworth was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Zane Boyd received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Warren Kent tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Brompton FC's Felix Fenton in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Maroon's goalie prevented a goal. 60 minutes into the match, Maroon's goal looked a bit too open when Vinnie Blythe came free, but Cliff Whitworth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Felix Fenton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Fenton in the 64th minute of play forced Maroon's goalkeeper Cliff Whitworth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zane Boyd hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Cliff Whitworth came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Brompton FC's Vinnie Blythe. But to his dismay, Vinnie Blythe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 72nd minute Felix Fenton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cliff Whitworth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vinnie Blythe took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cliff Whitworth. Cliff Whitworth dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. 78 minutes into the match, Vinnie Blythe notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Maroon's Cliff Whitworth. Cliff Whitworth was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Felix Fenton struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Cliff Whitworth didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brompton FC. In the 88th minute, Vinnie Blythe left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Brompton FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. Vinnie Blythe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Cliff Whitworth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Felix Fenton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brompton FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Felix Fenton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cliff Whitworth breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
