A collision led to Harrow getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Rhys Evans hit a great ball. In the 14th minute, Wally Leonard got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rex Moorhouse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Trevor Bland in the 18th minute of the match. Trevor Bland took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rex Moorhouse. Rex Moorhouse dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Harrow's defense didn't have a chance, in the 26th minute, when Anthony Darling scored to the left of an out of position Reuben Tomlin, making the score, 2-1. Stewart Stayton could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Reuben Tomlin made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Harrow's Rhys Evans got a free kick in the 38th minute. Reuben Tomlin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anthony Darling in the 42nd minute of the match. 45 minutes into the match, Harrow's goalkeeper Reuben Tomlin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hugh Cambridge.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stewart Stayton to make the kick off. Rex Moorhouse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Trevor Bland, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Reuben Tomlin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stewart Stayton in the 66th minute of the match.
