Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) When Silvester Golding came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Birmingham FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Silvester Golding couldn't finish the play. In the 4th minute, Vinnie Harris hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 5 minutes of play, Birmingham FC's Silvester Golding made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Loyd Bamford was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Damon Osbourne in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Romeo Browning saved Birmingham FC from getting behind. An unexpected shot in the 10th minute by Bill Woodcock got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 13 played minutes Birmingham FC got a freekick which was hit by Huey Mimms. After recieving a nice pass, Flushing's Jordan Appleton tried to score from far away in the 14th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Damon Osbourne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Romeo Browning tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Flushing's Damon Osbourne got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 30 minutes into the match, Flushing's Marty Pyrah sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Romeo Browning narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Flushing getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Verne Cook hit a great ball. 37 minutes into the match, Birmingham FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marty Pyrah came free, but Romeo Browning reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Birmingham FC's Romeo Browning played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damon Osbourne in the 38th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Scott Ricketts hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

After having played for 54 minutes, Bill Woodcock managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Birmingham FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bill Woodcock was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 55th match minute, Flushing was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Verne Cook to maneuver through the defense. Marty Pyrah who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 59thth minute tested the skills of Romeo Browning when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Silvester Golding blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Loyd Bamford having to make a save. The crowd rose to their feet as Flushing's Vinnie Harris slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Romeo Browning. That made the score 1-1 after 65 minutes of play. In the 69th minute Damon Osbourne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romeo Browning saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, Flushing's goal looked a bit too open when Bill Woodcock came free, but Loyd Bamford reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Birmingham FC's zone, Marty Pyrah stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Romeo Browning came out of the goal and Marty Pyrah tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 76th minute Damon Osbourne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romeo Browning saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Marty Pyrah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Romeo Browning showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damon Osbourne, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Romeo Browning showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damon Osbourne in the 81st minute of the match. In the 82nd minute Damon Osbourne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romeo Browning saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
