The audience was convinced that Jerome Broadhead's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Romeo Browning was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Birmingham FC's Romeo Browning played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by John-Paul Bedford in the 11th minute of play. John-Paul Bedford struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Romeo Browning didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KS Barkas Tolkmicko. Kris Byfield hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Birmingham FC's Silvester Golding got a free kick in the 28th minute. Jerome Broadhead fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeo Browning having to interfere. If John-Paul Bedford had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute John-Paul Bedford shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romeo Browning saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 33 minutes into the game, Scott Ricketts was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Birmingham FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KS Barkas Tolkmicko the free kick. Scott Ricketts hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, John-Paul Bedford managed to get in a good position for a shot. KS Barkas Tolkmicko's supporters rose to their feet, but John-Paul Bedford was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Romeo Browning breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Jerome Broadhead managed to get in a good position for a shot. KS Barkas Tolkmicko's supporters rose to their feet, but Jerome Broadhead was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Romeo Browning breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Silvester Golding made a kick off. Romeo Browning showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kris Byfield in the 51st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Bill Woodcock managed to get in a good position for a shot. Birmingham FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bill Woodcock was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Shane Hudson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. John-Paul Bedford's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Romeo Browning read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. After 67 played minutes Birmingham FC got a freekick which was hit by Joey Kinsey. John-Paul Bedford fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeo Browning having to interfere. After 71 played minutes Birmingham FC got a freekick which was hit by Thom Welch. Jerome Broadhead recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 76th match minute, KS Barkas Tolkmicko was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Darryl Battersby to maneuver through the defense. Bill Woodcock blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Shane Hudson having to make a save. KS Barkas Tolkmicko's John-Paul Bedford got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. John-Paul Bedford recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 96th minute of the match, Jerome Broadhead got a very nice opportunity to score, but Romeo Browning was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. KS Barkas Tolkmicko were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Birmingham FC to leave the ground with a draw.
