Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Robert Holdroyd took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, Jacob Mazon's Sam Avery got a free kick in the 4th minute. Jacob Mazon's Ethan Coote played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tony Jump in the 8th minute of play. After 9 minutes, Seb Dyson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Brighouse United and the Jacob Mazon players grew even worse after the yellow card. After recieving a nice pass, Jacob Mazon's Lawrence Hopkinson tried to score from far away in the 14th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Stevie Floyd's late challenge caught a Brighouse United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stevie Floyd helped the player get up and apologised. Stevie Floyd kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Seb Dyson in the 17th minute of play forced Jacob Mazon's goalkeeper Ethan Coote to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kevin Lumb fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Craig Ackroyd having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, Brighouse United's goal looked a bit too open when Albert Douglas came free, but Craig Ackroyd reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Jacob Mazon's goal looked a bit too open when Tony Jump came free, but Ethan Coote reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee gave Brighouse United a penalty, 37 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Travis Parslow, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Jacob Mazon's Ethan Coote. 0-1. Tony Jump recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tony Jump to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Jacob Mazon's Robert Holdroyd sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Craig Ackroyd narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kevin Lumb in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Craig Ackroyd saved Brighouse United from getting behind. Tony Jump fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ethan Coote having to interfere. With a little luck, Jacob Mazon's Ethan Coote got control of the ball when Seb Dyson tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 68th minute by Tony Jump got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a rather tough play, Jacob Mazon's Anthony Weeks got a free kick in the 71st minute. Brighouse United's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 72nd minute of the game, when Travis Parslow after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of Jacob Mazon's goal. Travis Parslow was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. Tony Jump sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Robert Holdroyd kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Jacob Mazon's Brett Delaney got a free kick in the 77th minute. Kevin Lumb sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 85th minute, Robert Holdroyd hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 86th minute, Tony Jump fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Tony Jump received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Ethan Coote tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tony Jump sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brighouse United's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
