Pete McDermot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 12th minute, Jacob Mazon's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Kris Nicholson fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Kris Nicholson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Ethan Coote tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Boston Red Sox's attack was well implemented in the 17th minute, but when Kris Nicholson was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. After a rather tough play, Boston Red Sox's Micheal Shuttleworth got a free kick in the 28th minute. After having played for 30 minutes, Kris Nicholson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Boston Red Sox's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kris Nicholson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 33rdth minute of the game Kris Nicholson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jacob Mazon's Ethan Coote was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jacob Mazon's defense didn't have a chance, in the 35th minute, when Kris Nicholson scored to the left of an out of position Ethan Coote, making the score, 1-0. Kris Nicholson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ethan Coote having to interfere. Ethan Coote took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kris Nicholson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Robert Holdroyd stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Micheal Shuttleworth might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ethan Coote. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Micheal Shuttleworth ran back to his position shaking his head. Kris Nicholson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Micheal Shuttleworth kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 58th minute, Harry Pack hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Pete McDermot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rd minute Pete McDermot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ethan Coote saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, Jacob Mazon's goal looked a bit too open when Kris Nicholson came free, but Ethan Coote reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ethan Coote showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pete McDermot, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Stevie Floyd kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pete McDermot in the 76th minute of play forced Jacob Mazon's goalkeeper Ethan Coote to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ethan Coote showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pete McDermot in the 79th minute of the match. Boston Red Sox's Pete McDermot got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 84 minutes into the match, Jacob Mazon's goal looked a bit too open when Kris Nicholson came free, but Ethan Coote reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brett Delaney kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. If Pete McDermot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 88 minutes, Kris Nicholson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. But to his dismay, Kris Nicholson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0.
