Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Phillip Granger started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The supporters of Blackwater and Frogmore booed when Latchingdon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pat Hanley didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Latchingdon's zone, Phillip Granger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ron Blowman came out of the goal and Phillip Granger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Latchingdon's Ron Blowman got control of the ball when Sacha Lawson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Latchingdon's Ron Blowman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Phillip Granger in the 15th minute of play. Phillip Granger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sacha Lawson got free with Ron Blowman in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pierce Graves got in the 20th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Bradley Rowe handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Pierce Graves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bradley Rowe having to interfere. Bradley Rowe didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pierce Graves went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. If Sacha Lawson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Pierce Graves managed to get in a good position for a shot. Latchingdon's supporters rose to their feet, but Pierce Graves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bradley Rowe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stew Bettinson to make the kick off. Blackwater and Frogmore's Bradley Rowe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stew Bettinson in the 52nd minute of play. A collision led to Blackwater and Frogmore getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Fitz Briggs hit a great ball. After having played for 57 minutes, Stew Bettinson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Latchingdon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stew Bettinson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pierce Graves got free with Bradley Rowe in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Phillip Granger came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Blackwater and Frogmore fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Phillip Granger couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Blackwater and Frogmore getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Fitz Briggs hit a great ball. Jude Auckland's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Bradley Rowe on his right side and into the goal. 69 minutes into the game it was 0-2. 75 minutes into the match, Blackwater and Frogmore's goal looked a bit too open when Stew Bettinson came free, but Bradley Rowe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ron Blowman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Phillip Granger, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Stew Bettinson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marty Bamford during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 82nd minute Pierce Graves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bradley Rowe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ron Blowman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Phillip Granger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bradley Rowe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stew Bettinson, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Pierce Graves blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bradley Rowe having to make a save. Syd Wright took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 93rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ron Blowman. Latchingdon's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Bradley Rowe didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 95th minute, which inside left pole to 0-3. The Blackwater and Frogmore supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Latchingdon's performance. The match ended with a win for Latchingdon.
