In the 39th minute, Kev Moyse got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 42 minutes into the match, STEAUA BUCURESTI's goal looked a bit too open when Jerome Deakin came free, but Adrian Myers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Kev Moyse managed to get in a good position for a shot. BRUCE's supporters rose to their feet, but Kev Moyse was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adrian Myers breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kev Moyse in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adrian Myers prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The STEAUA BUCURESTI players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. BRUCE were winning 1-2.

The wind increased when Mitch Barber made the kick off in the second half. Kev Moyse's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 53rdth minute, Adrian Myers skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Tristram Wybrow recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. David Aspinall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tristram Wybrow in the 68th minute of play. Tristram Wybrow struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. David Aspinall didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for STEAUA BUCURESTI. In the 75th minute Kev Moyse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Myers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. David Aspinall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mitch Barber in the 79th minute of play. Kev Moyse could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Adrian Myers made a huge save. In the 84th minute, Rupert Burrows hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kev Moyses short, quick shot in the 89thth minute got Adrian Myers to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. STEAUA BUCURESTI's Adrian Myers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save STEAUA BUCURESTI from getting a goal against them. BRUCE's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
