Adrian Myers acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 8th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Rich Woodyat. If Mitch Barber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Liam Wiley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Will Haseldine blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adrian Myers having to make a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rupert Burrows during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to STEAUA BUCURESTI getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Rupert Burrows hit a great ball. Theo Frost fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrian Myers having to interfere. 25 minutes into the game, Junior Lucas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. STEAUA BUCURESTI's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yggdrasil the free kick. After 35 played minutes Yggdrasil got a freekick which was hit by Rich Woodyat. Jay Delaney came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by STEAUA BUCURESTI's Junior Lucas. But to his dismay, Junior Lucas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Tristram Wybrow might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jay Delaney. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tristram Wybrow ran back to his position shaking his head. Jay Delaney made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mitch Barber in the 43rd minute of play. After having played for 45 minutes, Tristram Wybrow managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. STEAUA BUCURESTI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tristram Wybrow was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 46 minutes into the game, Will Haseldine was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Yggdrasil's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave STEAUA BUCURESTI the free kick. In the 46th match minute, Yggdrasil was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Will Haseldine to maneuver through the defense. The Yggdrasil players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. STEAUA BUCURESTI were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mitch Barber to make the kick off. Theo Frost recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Theo Frost scored 1-1 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Adrian Myers, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, STEAUA BUCURESTI's Junior Lucas got a free kick in the 59th minute. In the 63rd minute, Liam Wiley made a precise shot to the right of Adrian Myers. STEAUA BUCURESTI's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. STEAUA BUCURESTI's Mitch Barber got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Yggdrasil's Will Haseldine got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Adrian Myers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Liam Wiley in the 74th minute of play. Yggdrasil's Jay Delaney proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Yggdrasil from getting a goal against them. When Tristram Wybrow came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the STEAUA BUCURESTI fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tristram Wybrow couldn't finish the play. Liam Wiley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrian Myers having to interfere. STEAUA BUCURESTI's Adrian Myers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Theo Frost in the 87th minute of play. A collision led to Yggdrasil getting a freekick after 99 minutes play. Orson Norfolk hit a great ball. Yggdrasil were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
