An unexpectedly hard shot by Reggie Younger in the 41st minute of play forced Yggdrasil's goalkeeper Jay Delaney to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Bolton Wanderers's Devon Nelson in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Reggie Younger in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jay Delaney saved Yggdrasil from getting behind. Liam Wiley took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Johnny Apsden. Johnny Apsden dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Bolton Wanderers fully deserved thier win.
