After 2 played minutes Elstree Brigades F.C got a freekick which was hit by Lewis Hamilton. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marty Dingle in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eric Linford prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eric Linford didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marty Dingle went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Eric Linford took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marty Dingle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Lewis Hamilton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 18 minutes into the game, Ben Kitching was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wankers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Elstree Brigades F.C the free kick. After a rather tough play, Wankers's Ben Kitching got a free kick in the 18th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Wankers's Marty Dingle sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eric Linford narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Roy Runberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eric Linford showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marty Dingle in the 24th minute of the match. If Marty Dingle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elstree Brigades F.C's Eric Linford played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brynn Duxbury in the 34th minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 36th minute of the game. One of Elstree Brigades F.C:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Wankers:s goal. In the 37th minute there was a penalty for Wankers. Tommy Pamplin stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Eric Linford. 0-3. Ben Kitching recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marty Dingle blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eric Linford having to make a save.

Marty Dingle was extremely unlucky when he, in the 55th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After 58 minutes of play, Elstree Brigades F.C's Lewis Hamilton made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bart Wroe was left in no man's land by his defense there! Brynn Duxbury sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bart Wroe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roy Runberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 78 minutes into the match, Wankers's goal looked a bit too open when Roy Runberg came free, but Bart Wroe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, Roy Runberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bart Wroe. Wankers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roy Runberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. When Elstree Brigades F.C's Roy Runberg in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Wankers's goalie prevented a goal. In the 85th minute, Tommy Pamplin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Brynn Duxbury sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 2-4 became the score in the 88th minute when Marty Dingle elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Tommy Pamplin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eric Linford having to interfere. After some careless play in the Elstree Brigades F.C defense, Tommy Pamplin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eric Linford. The Elstree Brigades F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eric Linford should have stopped the shot. When the final whistle sounded Wankers left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Elstree Brigades F.C.
