Leigh Draper was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Pewsey FC's Ronan Battersby got a free kick in the 41st minute. Tommy Pamplin was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 42nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. With an all-out effort, Wankers's Leigh Draper threw himself towards the right post 44 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tommy Pamplin, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Perry Hedges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Perry Hedges managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pewsey FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Perry Hedges was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bart Wroe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Travis Reeves hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Perry Hedges's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Bart Wroe firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Perry Hedges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Despite being the better team, Wankers failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
