Pierce Meehan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Brent in the 20th minute of the match. Pete Hazledine took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pierce Meehan. Pierce Meehan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 36th match minute, STAFFORD RANGERS FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luke Cross to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in STAFFORD RANGERS FC's zone, Gregory Brook stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ronny Chambers came out of the goal and Gregory Brook tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 45th minute Gregory Brook shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronny Chambers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Frank Brent's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pierce Meehan was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. Ronny Chambers made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Perry Barker sent off a good shot on target. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

53 minutes into the game, Josh Frost was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. STAFFORD RANGERS FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mason FC the free kick. Josh Frost kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Ronny Chambers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gregory Brook in the 56th minute of play. After having played for 60 minutes, Frank Brent managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. STAFFORD RANGERS FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frank Brent was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gregory Brook in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ronny Chambers saved STAFFORD RANGERS FC from getting behind. In the 67thth minute of the game Gregory Brook who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but STAFFORD RANGERS FC's Ronny Chambers was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 68th minute Perry Barker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronny Chambers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 74th minute of the match, Frank Brent got a very nice opportunity to score, but Pierce Meehan was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. A collision led to STAFFORD RANGERS FC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Pete Hazledine hit a great ball. In the 80th minute, Perry Barker got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Gregory Brook managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mason FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gregory Brook was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ronny Chambers breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match clock showed 86 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Perry Barker sped through STAFFORD RANGERS FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ronny Chambers. The supporters of Mason FC booed when STAFFORD RANGERS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Calum Richardson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Perry Barker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Ronny Chambers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gregory Brook fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronny Chambers having to interfere. Pierce Meehan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frank Brent in the 95th minute. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
