Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rupert Haylock started the match with the kick off. Jordan Ashton's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 11thth minute, Kenny Camfield skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 14th minute Zack Waller shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Darren Blythe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robbie Lawson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Robbie Lawson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Darren Blythe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 19 minutes of play, Kettering's Robbie Lawson made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Darren Blythe was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kettering's Kenny Camfield played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rupert Haylock in the 27th minute of play. Toby FC's Rupert Haylock got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Jordan Ashton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 38 minutes into the match, Toby FC's Rupert Haylock sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kenny Camfield narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rupert Haylock received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Kenny Camfield tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Rupert Haylock had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

The wind increased when Zack Waller made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Kettering's goal looked a bit too open when Jordan Ashton came free, but Kenny Camfield reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rupert Haylock got in the 53rd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Kenny Camfield handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. If Rupert Haylock had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Robbie Lawson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kettering's supporters rose to their feet, but Robbie Lawson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Darren Blythe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kenny Camfield showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jordan Ashton in the 65th minute of the match. In the 67th minute, Jordan Ashton made a precise shot to the right of Kenny Camfield. Kettering's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 72nd minute, George Beckford hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kettering's Zack Waller got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Jordan Ashton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th minute Rupert Haylock shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kenny Camfield saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bart Hurst kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rupert Haylock in the 84th minute of play forced Kettering's goalkeeper Kenny Camfield to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Darren Blythe made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Robbie Lawson sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Kettering's zone, Jordan Ashton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kenny Camfield came out of the goal and Jordan Ashton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
