Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jim Goodfellow took the kick off in the first half of the match. Cody Theobold made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Lennie Hammett sent off a good shot on target. In the 4th minute, Max Scriven hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 6 played minutes Worcester Park got a freekick which was hit by Ash Lambourne. In the 8th minute Miles Chilton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cody Theobold saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Worcester Park's Vinnie Cole played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marek Styles in the 12th minute of play. If James Willmott had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. James Willmott took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vinnie Cole. Vinnie Cole dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 20thth minute of the game Max Scriven who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Worcester Park's Vinnie Cole was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 23rd minute, Austin Woodman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cody Theobold was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Philip Anderson. Cody Theobold didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lennie Hammett went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 30th minute Miles Chilton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cody Theobold saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If James Willmott had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mike Thorne's late challenge caught a Worcester Park's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mike Thorne helped the player get up and apologised. 33 minutes into the match, Philip Anderson sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Cody Theobold threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Philip Anderson this time. Lennie Hammett could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Cody Theobold made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Philip Anderson during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Worcester Park's Philip Anderson got a free kick in the 36th minute. The audience held their breath when Marek Styles in the 38th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Vinnie Cole's left hand side. In the 43rd minute Max Scriven shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vinnie Cole saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 44 played minutes Worcester Park got a freekick which was hit by Lennie Hammett. Lennie Hammett scored 2-1 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cody Theobold, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Max Scriven to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Vance Eldridge notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Wigan's Cody Theobold. Cody Theobold was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Max Scriven sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jim Goodfellow took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cody Theobold. Wigan's Cody Theobold played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jim Goodfellow in the 69th minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Miles Chilton ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cody Theobold was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Vinnie Cole showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Max Scriven, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. After some careless play in the Wigan defense, Vance Eldridge kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cody Theobold. The Wigan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cody Theobold should have stopped the shot. Cody Theobold took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lennie Hammett, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cody Theobold made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lennie Hammett in the 94th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vance Eldridge in the 95th minute of play forced Wigan's goalkeeper Cody Theobold to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
