Spectators: 6743 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1743, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Joey Spencer kicked off to start the match. After a defensive mix-up in Kettering's zone, Joey Spencer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kenny Camfield came out of the goal and Joey Spencer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kenny Camfield took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joey Spencer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 19 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Archway! The goalkeeper, Dominic Sheridan, was totally fooled by Kettering's Orson Nightingale, who 22 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After 24 minutes, Zack Waller mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kettering and the Archway players grew even worse after the yellow card. Zack Waller kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. In the 26th minute Joey Spencer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kenny Camfield saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Jay Meadowcroft had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35thth minute of the game Joey Spencer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kettering's Kenny Camfield was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 37th minute, Darryl Keane hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dominic Sheridan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zack Waller in the 41st minute of play. The supporters of Archway booed when Kettering was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bradley Rogers didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zack Waller to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Kettering's Bart Hurst got a free kick in the 51st minute. Kettering's Kenny Camfield played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joey Spencer in the 52nd minute of play. In the 54thth minute of the game Joey Spencer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kettering's Kenny Camfield was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kenny Camfield was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Joey Spencer showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 63 minute of play. After having played for 67 minutes, Zack Waller managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kettering's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zack Waller was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Colin Coe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dominic Sheridan having to interfere. Dominic Sheridan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zack Waller in the 70th minute of play. Jay Meadowcroft could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Kenny Camfield made a huge save. After 83 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Kettering! In the 94th minute, one of Archway:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Archway. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
