Jack Bryden breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vinnie Moss in the 6th minute of play forced Sea Anemone FC's goalkeeper Jo Schofield to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the game, Sea Anemone FC's Dion Forbes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jack Bryden made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 13 minutes, Dion Forbes made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Milo F.C's Jack Bryden tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After taking down the ball on Milo F.C's corner Dominik Goodfellow fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jo Schofield quite easily take care of the ball. In the game's 19th minute Milo F.C's Dominik Goodfellow took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Jo Schofield and thus the score was 1-2. 27 minutes into the match, Sea Anemone FC's Louis Lawton sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jack Bryden narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Sea Anemone FC's Steven Evans got a free kick in the 29th minute. Dion Forbes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jack Bryden having to make a save. Jack Bryden showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Louis Lawton in the 35th minute of the match. If Vinnie Moss had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Louis Lawton to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Milo F.C's goalkeeper Jack Bryden, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Louis Lawton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jack Bryden having to interfere. Dion Forbes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jack Bryden having to interfere. After having played for 58 minutes, Louis Lawton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sea Anemone FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Louis Lawton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Milo F.C getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Vinnie Moss hit a great ball. In the 63rd minute, Louis Lawton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Milo F.C's Jack Bryden played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Louis Lawton in the 65th minute of play. Louis Lawton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jack Bryden showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Louis Lawton, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Milo F.C's zone, Dion Forbes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jack Bryden came out of the goal and Dion Forbes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dion Forbes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Jack Bryden tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in Milo F.C fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 89th minute. Penalty! Jeff Hindmarsh placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Dion Forbes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jack Bryden having to interfere. If Louis Lawton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th minute, Ian Langdon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sea Anemone FC played a much better game than Milo F.C and deserved their victory. The Milo F.C players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
