Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Stewart Newbury took the kick off in the first half of the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 5th minute of the game. One of Swansea City FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of All-blacks:s goal. The referee gave All-blacks a penalty, 7 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Jeremy Mortimer, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Swansea City FC's Drew Blackhurst. 1-0. When All-blacks's Dale Davis, in the 12th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for All-blacks. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Swansea City FC's goalkeeper Drew Blackhurst, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 18th minute, Dale Davis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 20th minute, Tommy Potterton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dale Davis did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-0 to the left of a surprised Drew Blackhurst 24 minutes into the match. Gerry Dennison received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Drew Blackhurst tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dale Davis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Drew Blackhurst having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gerry Dennison in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Drew Blackhurst saved Swansea City FC from getting behind. Swansea City FC's Drew Blackhurst played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conan Smith in the 42nd minute of play. Drew Blackhurst showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dale Davis, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dale Davis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of All-blacks booed when Swansea City FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tommy Potterton didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 60 minutes, Conan Smith mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the All-blacks and the Swansea City FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gerry Dennison in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Drew Blackhurst saved Swansea City FC from getting behind. Drew Blackhurst made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerry Dennison in the 69th minute of play. Drew Blackhurst made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dale Davis in the 74th minute of play. Gerry Dennison sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 78 minutes, Dale Davis made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Swansea City FC's Drew Blackhurst tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, All-blacks's Simeon Torpey got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Glenn Stansfield sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 87 minutes into the match, Dale Davis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Drew Blackhurst. Swansea City FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dale Davis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. When Conan Smith was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 90 minutes had been played. A collision led to All-blacks getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Conan Smith hit a great ball. Dean Gaskell made an important save on a dangerous shot by Glenn Stansfield in the 94th minute. In the 96th minute, Gerry Dennison got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. There was no doubt that All-blacks were the better team. All-blacks's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
