Martyn Baxter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Guy Gerrard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ollie Hellen's late challenge caught a Legia Warsaw's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ollie Hellen helped the player get up and apologised. Ollie Hellen kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 14th minute of the game. One of Radcliffe-on-Trent:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Legia Warsaw:s goal. Guy Gerrard had in the 16thth minute some difficulties stopping Alex Osborn's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Julian Morning's late challenge caught a Radcliffe-on-Trent's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Julian Morning helped the player get up and apologised. After 18 played minutes Legia Warsaw got a freekick which was hit by Julian Morning. Jeff Mellon took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 19th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Junior Borrowdale. Legia Warsaw's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Lee Wilkins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Junior Borrowdale having to interfere. Johnathan Cutts sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lee Wilkins recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sly Lawton charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sly Lawton the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Junior Borrowdale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lee Wilkins in the 46th minute of play. After the first half Radcliffe-on-Trent were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Jo Palmer made the kick off in the second half. Guy Gerrard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luke Blakeley in the 54th minute of the match. Johnathan Cutts fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guy Gerrard having to interfere. After 60 minutes of play, Radcliffe-on-Trent's Lee Wilkins made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Junior Borrowdale was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tod Prendergast kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. 68 minutes into the game, one of Legia Warsaw:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 74th minute, Lee Wilkins made a precise shot to the right of Junior Borrowdale. Legia Warsaw's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jo Palmer in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Junior Borrowdale prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jo Palmer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. After 94 minutes, Keiran Halliwell mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Radcliffe-on-Trent and the Legia Warsaw players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Radcliffe-on-Trent's Keiran Halliwell got a free kick in the 94th minute. Alex Osborn, 95 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The Legia Warsaw fans' excitement grew in the 98th match minute when Legia Warsaw's Martyn Baxter looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Junior Borrowdale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jo Palmer in the 101st minute of play.
