Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Martyn Baxter took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute, Harvey Vaughan fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Laurence Hill fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Junior Borrowdale having to interfere. Leroy Percival recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 16 minutes of play, Ferndown Foxes FC's Loyd Scrivener made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Junior Borrowdale was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Loyd Scrivener managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ferndown Foxes FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Loyd Scrivener was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Junior Borrowdale breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Ferndown Foxes FC booed when Legia Warsaw was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. George Crossley didn't get a good kick on the ball. Laurence Hill didn't get a good kick on the ball. 25 minutes into the game, Leroy Percival was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ferndown Foxes FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Legia Warsaw the free kick. Leroy Percival kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Martyn Baxter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Dean Tabb tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dean Tabb took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johnathan Cutts, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ferndown Foxes FC's Dean Tabb played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martyn Baxter in the 32nd minute of play. Junior Borrowdale made an important save on a dangerous shot by Loyd Scrivener in the 34th minute. Norman Dines received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Junior Borrowdale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 37 minutes into the game, Loyd Scrivener lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Junior Borrowdale. Martyn Baxter's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dean Tabb read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. After 41 minutes, Laurence Hill mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ferndown Foxes FC and the Legia Warsaw players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 41st minute, Laurence Hill hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Leroy Percival was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 43 minutes had been played. After 44 played minutes Ferndown Foxes FC got a freekick which was hit by Leroy Percival. Dean Tabb showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luke Blakeley in the 46th minute of the match.

The wind increased when Harvey Vaughan made the kick off in the second half. If Laurence Hill had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Norman Dines came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Ferndown Foxes FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Norman Dines couldn't finish the play. 56 minutes into the match, Ferndown Foxes FC's Noel Budden sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Junior Borrowdale narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laurence Hill in the 57th minute of play forced Legia Warsaw's goalkeeper Junior Borrowdale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Junior Borrowdale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laurence Hill in the 61st minute of play. When Laurence Hill came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Ferndown Foxes FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Laurence Hill couldn't finish the play. Ferndown Foxes FC's Dean Tabb played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martyn Baxter in the 68th minute of play. After 68 played minutes Ferndown Foxes FC got a freekick which was hit by Laurence Hill. With a little luck, Ferndown Foxes FC's Dean Tabb got control of the ball when Oliver Budge tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 80th match minute, Legia Warsaw was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tod Prendergast to maneuver through the defense. When Loyd Scrivener came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Ferndown Foxes FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Loyd Scrivener couldn't finish the play. Harvey Vaughan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Laurence Hill came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Ferndown Foxes FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Laurence Hill couldn't finish the play. Luke Blakeley hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. In the 92nd minute, Tod Prendergast hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Legia Warsaw's Junior Borrowdale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laurence Hill in the 96th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Ferndown Foxes FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
