Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Martyn Lemerond took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of Radcliffe-on-Trent booed when F95 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lee Harrad didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Lee Wilkins's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Darryl Sledge was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. Lee Wilkins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Matty Dwyer kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. The long shot by Jeff Mellon in the 15th minute really tested Darryl Sledge's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. If Kev Mason had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jo Palmer in the 25th minute of play forced F95's goalkeeper Darryl Sledge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Jo Palmer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 31st minute, Franz Stamp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kristian Cobb hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Jo Palmer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Darryl Sledge read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. Darryl Sledge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jo Palmer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Darryl Sledge came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by Radcliffe-on-Trent's Lee Wilkins. But to his dismay, Lee Wilkins quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 55th minute Jo Palmer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Darryl Sledge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th match minute, Radcliffe-on-Trent was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lee Wilkins to maneuver through the defense. Kev Masons short, quick shot in the 59thth minute got Guy Gerrard to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Radcliffe-on-Trent's Jo Palmer in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye F95's goalie prevented a goal. Martyn Lemerond succeeded in the game's 73rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-1. Darryl Sledge stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jo Palmer's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. Jo Palmer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Darryl Sledge having to interfere. Jo Palmer struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Darryl Sledge didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Radcliffe-on-Trent. Lee Wilkins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Darryl Sledge having to interfere. Radcliffe-on-Trent's Sly Lawton pulled a muscle in his back after 97 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Franz Stamp during the 97th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, F95's Franz Stamp got a free kick in the 98th minute.
