Spectators: 7647 (Terracing: 5737, Seating: 1758, VIP seats: 152) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Martyn Lemerond kicked off to start the match. Loyd Scrivener recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Laurence Hill fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Darryl Sledge having to interfere. When Loyd Scrivener fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ferndown Foxes FC's protests and gave Loyd Scrivener a yellow card for diving instead. In the 7th match minute, Ferndown Foxes FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Loyd Scrivener to maneuver through the defense. Darryl Sledge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laurence Hill in the 11th minute of the match. When Kristian Cobb fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored F95's protests and gave Kristian Cobb a yellow card for diving instead. Kristian Cobb hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Laurence Hill sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some careless play in the F95 defense, Loyd Scrivener kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Darryl Sledge. The F95 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Darryl Sledge should have stopped the shot. Darryl Sledge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leroy Percival in the 22nd minute of the match. Darryl Sledge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harvey Vaughan in the 23rd minute of play. After 27 minutes, Jerry Walmsley mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ferndown Foxes FC and the F95 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 28 played minutes Ferndown Foxes FC got a freekick which was hit by Jerry Walmsley. 31 minutes into the game, Ferndown Foxes FC's Loyd Scrivener nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Darryl Sledge made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harvey Vaughan in the 34th minute of play forced F95's goalkeeper Darryl Sledge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute, Laurence Hill got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Darryl Sledge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Loyd Scrivener, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The F95 players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ferndown Foxes FC were winning 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Loyd Scrivener stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Noel Budden received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Darryl Sledge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 57th minute Harvey Vaughan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Darryl Sledge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Loyd Scrivener managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ferndown Foxes FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Loyd Scrivener was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Darryl Sledge breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ferndown Foxes FC's Dean Tabb played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martyn Lemerond in the 62nd minute of play. Dean Tabb showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kev Mason in the 67th minute of the match. After 68 played minutes Ferndown Foxes FC got a freekick which was hit by Laurence Hill. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Laurence Hill managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ferndown Foxes FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Laurence Hill was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Darryl Sledge breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Darryl Sledge came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Ferndown Foxes FC's Loyd Scrivener. But to his dismay, Loyd Scrivener quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. F95's Darryl Sledge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Loyd Scrivener in the 84th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in F95's zone, Laurence Hill stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Darryl Sledge came out of the goal and Laurence Hill tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Darryl Sledge was a little too slow when Harvey Vaughan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 86th minute. The score was now 0-6. Franz Stamp scored 1-6 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dean Tabb, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Loyd Scrivener had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over Ferndown Foxes FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than F95 throughout the match.
