Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Jordan Acton made the kick off which started today's match. Dean Tabb made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jordan Acton in the 5th minute of play. Loyd Scrivener fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Curtis Braithwaite having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Redbourn United's Les Newland got a free kick in the 8th minute. When Pete Wallbank came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Redbourn United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pete Wallbank couldn't finish the play. After 13 minutes of play, Redbourn United's Jordan Acton made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dean Tabb was left in no man's land by his defense there! Redbourn United's Curtis Braithwaite played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Loyd Scrivener in the 16th minute of play. Dean Tabb showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pete Wallbank in the 17th minute of the match. Dean Tabb made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pete Wallbank in the 19th minute. Curtis Braithwaite showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laurence Hill, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Curtis Braithwaite made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laurence Hill in the 22nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Loyd Scrivener in the 24th minute of play forced Redbourn United's goalkeeper Curtis Braithwaite to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute Jordan Acton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dean Tabb saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dean Tabb was a little too slow when Jordan Acton got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 31st minute. The score was now 2-0. Curtis Braithwaite stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Loyd Scrivener's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. When Loyd Scrivener came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Ferndown Foxes FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Loyd Scrivener couldn't finish the play. Noel Budden sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Redbourn United booed when Ferndown Foxes FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Tabb didn't get a good kick on the ball. Curtis Braithwaite showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Loyd Scrivener, who was totally free with the ball in the 49th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Loyd Scrivener was the one to do the kick off. Dean Tabb made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pete Wallbank in the 56th minute of play. Loyd Scrivener received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Curtis Braithwaite tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Curtis Braithwaite made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Loyd Scrivener in the 65th minute of play. After 66 played minutes Redbourn United got a freekick which was hit by Les Newland. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Loyd Scrivener in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Curtis Braithwaite saved Redbourn United from getting behind. Ferndown Foxes FC's Dean Tabb played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pete Wallbank in the 74th minute of play. With a little luck, Redbourn United's Curtis Braithwaite got control of the ball when Loyd Scrivener tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dean Tabb took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pete Wallbank, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Ferndown Foxes FC's zone, Jordan Acton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dean Tabb came out of the goal and Jordan Acton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ed Brazier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ferndown Foxes FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Redbourn United.
