Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Craig Lemerond got the match started through his kick off. After 5 minutes, Teddy Sparks mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bourne and the crystal palace players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 5th minute, Teddy Sparks hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 8th match minute, crystal palace was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tyrone Bowler to maneuver through the defense. Tyrone Bowler kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Jeremy Woodford fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Steven Boxall having to interfere. Benjamin Featherstone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeffrey Trusswell, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. 16 minutes into the game, Graham Elliott was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bourne's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave crystal palace the free kick. After 16 played minutes Bourne got a freekick which was hit by Graham Elliott. In the 18th minute of the match Marc Hartley shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benjamin Featherstone showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Donald Ellison fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Steven Boxall having to interfere. Jeremy Woodford could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Steven Boxall made a huge save. Donald Ellison struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Steven Boxall didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bourne. In the 30th minute, Craig Lemerond got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jeffrey Trusswell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Featherstone having to interfere. Bourne's Benjamin Featherstone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeffrey Trusswell in the 36th minute of play. In the 38th minute Craig Lemerond shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamin Featherstone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Craig Lemerond got in the 53rd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Benjamin Featherstone handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. A collision led to Bourne getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Joshua Burns hit a great ball. If Jeremy Woodford had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Steven Boxall didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jeremy Woodford went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Joshua Burns received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Steven Boxall tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Steven Boxall came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Bourne's Donald Ellison. But to his dismay, Donald Ellison quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Jeffrey Trusswell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Benjamin Featherstone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeffrey Trusswell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeffrey Trusswell could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Benjamin Featherstone made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donald Ellison in the 82nd minute of play forced crystal palace's goalkeeper Steven Boxall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of crystal palace booed when Bourne was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olly Blain didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Donald Ellison managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bourne's supporters rose to their feet, but Donald Ellison was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Steven Boxall breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
